This piece was manufactured in the world-famous porcelain capital of Jingdezhen, China, and features the classic iron-red square factory seal stamp on the bottom of the base. The cup is beautifully adorned with a vibrant, hand-painted red and green dual dragon motif. Up for sale is a beautiful vintage mid-to-late 20th century Chinese porcelain lidded tea cup with a 4 oz. capacity. This piece was manufactured in the world-famous porcelain capital of Jingdezhen, China, and features the classic iron-red square factory seal stamp on the bottom of the base. The cup is beautifully adorned with a vibrant, hand-painted red and green dual dragon motif. It is accented with gold paint bands along the rims and on the top of the lid finial knob. The lid also features a built-in steam vent hole to relieve pressure. The cup body is in excellent condition. The interior pocelain is clean, bright and completely free of tea stains, chips or cracks. The exterior hand-painted dragon graphics remain highly vivid. The lid is in good vintage condition. The structural integrity of the lid is fully sound with no deep cracks. However, it shows clear signs of age and use, including noticeable gold tarnish/fading on the painted sections, and a few distinct chips/flea bites along the other gold rim edge. This item is priced low to directly reflect this vintage wear. Please review all close-up photos carefully prior to purchasing. Porcelain is highly fragile, and this item will be packed with absolute care! The cup and matching lid will be packed separately in bubble wrap and shipped inside a well-padded cardboard box.
