View 1998 Boyds Bear Private Issue Ms. Berriweather's Cottage 01998-41 New Old Stock with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Marked on the back in the wood slats © 1998 T.B.C. The paw mark is on her right leg under her blue hem of her dress. She bears a saying by John Ruskin "Give a little love to a child, and you get a great deal back.". This auction is for a January-Dec. 31, 1998 Private Issue of Boyds Bear & Friends  "Ms. Berriweather's Cottage" 01998-41. The figurine is in Mint condition in its original box and Styrofoam packing. No issues. Never Displayed. It is New Old Stock. Please note, in one picture there is a round white spot that looks like a chip, it was a piece of Styrofoam. The box shows extremely minimal wear. Comes with its original Styrofoam packing.  COA booklet included. An original price tag is on the underside of the figurine. This figurine and several others were purchased from a Hallmark Store that was going out of business.  The figurine features Ms. Berriweather with a small cottage "House for wren-t..." It is very detailed with a cat friend posing as a carpenter holding a hammer, and (2) birds wearing bows and hats with a suit case. The back is marked © 1998 T.B.C. with a paw print The saying is by Padraic Colum - "A little house- a house of my own- out of the wind's and rain's way." This figurine measures approx. 4 1/2" h x 4 3/8" l x 3 3/4" w. She measures 3 1/2" h x 2 1/2" l x 2 1/4" w. Marked on the back in the wood slats © 1998 T.B.C..
