The piece is designed with a large central skull and 5 additional skulls attached to it in varying sizes. A raised relief spider sits on the top of one skull and a bone sits between the 2 top skulls. It measures 8 3/4" tall, 6" wide and is 7" from front to back. The holder is made of sturdy and durable ceramic and weighs 3 lbs. It is hand painted tan with a brown mottling pattern throughout creating the look of aging bones. The cheeks, eye sockets, the spider and the bone on the forehead are accented with a blue/grey color. It is finished in a glossy glaze. The candle holder has several cut-out holes to allow the light to shine through. The 3 biggest skulls have cut out eyes, noses and mouths. The 2 skulls on top also have holes on the sides of their heads.  A smaller skull on the bottom has cut out eyes & nose and the 2 smallest skulls have just the eyes cut out. The piece has a large opening in the back that measures 3 1/4" wide by 2 1/2" long making it easy to insert a candle or light source. It can be lit with a tea light, mini candle or votive candle as well as a battery-operated candles.  This unique and original collectible has a 3D effect that will add some spooky atmosphere and a touch of horror to any room.
