The center stone is a 10 carat cabochon cut and polished natural earth mined star sapphire. The shank is a split shank also white gold (14K hallmarked and tested). For Some reason I love collecting star sapphires.  It is the mystical part in the stone that attracts me as well as a good bright star.   This ring is vintage 1980s/90.  It is crafted from solid 14K White gold.  The center stone is a 10 carat cabochon cut and polished natural earth mined star sapphire.  The sapphire is untreated and securely set in a bezel frame.  The shank is a split shank also white gold (14K hallmarked and tested).The front of the ring features two lines of brilliant cut diamonds that boarder the top and the bottom of the band at the front.  In the center of the split shank is additional brilliant cut earth mined diamonds with a bit of a swirl towards the sapphire.  The sapphire is a pale blue with purple undertones with prominent star in direct sun light.  The condition of this ring is very good with minimal wear.  All of the stones are natural earth mined and untreated, the gold is solid 14K white gold tested and hallmarked.
