Beautiful vintage sterling silver pendant featuring classic Southwestern Native silverwork and an unusual handmade open hook/enhancer-style bail. The dimensional design is constructed on a scalloped sterling backplate and decorated with a central applied feather/leaf motif, flower, silver raindrops, hand-stamped details and graceful wire scrollwork. Two small cabochons provide wonderful color — one bright turquoise and coral — both surrounded by traditional sawtooth bezels. The oversized handmade hook-style bail is especially interesting. Its open construction allows the pendant to be attached to compatible chains, bead strands or necklaces without needing to pass the entire strand through a conventional closed bail.
