Also, the bottom has an area where there is glaze missing from the original manufacture. Vintage Relpo made in Italy planter adds a touch of bohemian flair to your home or outside space. The red background is luscious and features hand-painted, embossed and stylized tulips with their associated green foliage. Very rich-looking!  The base of this planter is 5" across and 7" across at the top. I note one tiny chip--see the pictures.  Also, the bottom has an area where there is glaze missing from the original manufacture. There's also what I would call scaling around the base like someone has this planter in a saucer with water--which doesn't make any sense because there's no hole in the bottom and also the original Relpo sticker is still there. So, I'm not sure what it is; it might come off with some scrubbing or non-abrasive cleaner if you have an issue with it. I just consider it "patina" since this is a vintage piece.  Condition: Used.
