Beautiful vintage circa 1950s rhinestone bib necklace featuring icy pale blue rhinestones set in silver-tone metal. The dramatic graduated front is constructed from multiple articulated rows of round prong-set rhinestones and accented with seven larger emerald-cut rectangular rhinestones. The rhinestone chain narrows to a single row at each side, creating an elegant collar-style silhouette with plenty of movement and sparkle. The necklace closes with a period J-hook clasp. The opposite end is finished with a larger round rhinestone; the hook catches along the rhinestone chain to allow some adjustment in fit. This appears to be the original, complete construction rather than a missing clasp component.
