This is a single breasted 2 button front closure and has 3 buttons on the sleeves. It has that classic old-school blazer look which features back stitching along the edges of the exterior that can easily be seen in the photos. This is a very nice mens Lands’ End Charter Collection green jacket blazer in a size 40L. This is a vintage jacket and was made in the United States. This one is extra special as it features the hard to find classic Lands’ End lighthouse design logo gold metal buttons. The buttons alone have sold on eBay for $30-$50 a set for restoration of older blazers with these hard to find original buttons. Please verify all measurements before bidding please. This is made of a great looking 100% worsted wool in the United States on a solid green. It is a great blazer….. please see the up close pictures for the details of the material and the blazers details. This is a single breasted 2 button front closure and has 3 buttons on the sleeves. Again, the buttons are all done in gold metal lighthouse Lands’ End logo buttons. This blazer has a single vented rear and it is partially lined with the 2 interior pockets. It has that classic old-school blazer look which features back stitching along the edges of the exterior that can easily be seen in the photos. The blazer also has patch style flap pockets at the waistline. Again, this is from the “Charter Collection” which at the time was Lands’ End highest quality, archival line of men’s wear. The measurements are as follows: CHEST = 43 1/2 inches around the outside of the coat measured just under the armpits. We take measurements by measuring the circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn around the outside of the coat. We do NOT measure lying flat. SLEEVES = 35 1/2 inches from the center of the back neckline to the end of the cuffs, 26 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuffs. TAIL = 31 1/2 inches from the BOTTOM of the collar to the end of the waistline hem in the rear. SHOULDERS = 18 inches wide from shoulder seam to shoulder seam WAISTLINE = 41 1/2 inches around the midsection of the coat at the bottom button which is about 9 1/2 inches up from the bottom hem line. We take measurements by measuring the circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn around the outside of the coat. We do NOT measure lying flat. This Lands’ End blazer is perfect for any men’s wardrobe needs. It shows class and excellence which is seen in the metal button blazers by Lands’ End. And this one is no exception! Based on online research concerning this vintage blazer, the Lands’ End Charter Collection blazers that were made in the United States of heavier Worster wool with that tag were made in the mid 1980s all the way through 1990. This coat was worn just a handful of times overall. And while the exact age is not known, you can tell it was well taken care of. We do not see any real major issues with the outside, but again it was worn and is vintage. On the interior there may be some loose lining threading along the lining. But nothing significant at all. Also, because of the age, there is some light discoloration and maybe a stain or two on the inside lining that is never seen when you wear the coat. Plus, on your next dry cleaning maybe it’ll come out anyways. Again, very insignificant, it does not affect Wear, and it is never seen at all. Overall, this blazer is in very nice condition. There is tons of life left, and as with these blazers they are a staple in classic menswear. Please note that we take measurements by measuring the circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn around the outside of the coat. We do NOT measure laying flat as noted above.
