The Gold luster is virtually untouched as there does not appear to be any wear at all to be seen. Offered here is a fantastic Haviland Limoge Teapot with original lid that dates to 1865-1875, and which is accompanied by a 19th century serving plate that is unmarked, but I have no doubt that it is also by Haviland.  The teapot, which is identified by an incised H&Co and an impressed letter "M", is 8 inches tall and 10 inches handle to spout end. The underplate is 9-3/8 inches wide.  CONDITION:   The teapot cover has a tiny nibble to the edge of the flange stopper (or tab that prevents it falling off when pouring). The Gold luster is virtually untouched as there does not appear to be any wear at all to be seen. The underplate has some Gold luster loss only to the inner raised rim, but the outer decoration is near 100% intact. I have never seen any porcelain pieces with Gld luster this intact outside of museum pieces-most of which have had some restoration!.  BUYER PAYS SHIPPING! Condition: Used.
