His feet are very prominent in the front, and they keep him balanced and free standing without support.  Extremely nice carving Hand signed on the underside GROGER '67 Looks great from all sides and turned in any position Wood has been gently polished to have a natural smooth finish and then meticulously hand stained for the most realism possible. VERY charming piece. One of a kind.  Excellent condition, no nicks cracks splits scratches damage or repair. Some light wear to the brown stain from being handled over the years, super minor for a vintage carving.
