View Vtg STUDIO ART POTTERY Wheel Thrown FOLK ART FLOWERS Stoneware Pot/Vase SIGNED with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Top half of vase is glazed a rich chocolate brown which has been combed to create very fine thin rings. Has small carved-in flowers/stems PLUS wonderful large blue and white flowers in thickly applied glaze. Vintage STUDIO ART POTTERY Wheel Thrown TEXTURAL FLOWERS Stoneware Pot/Vase SIGNED Folk Art style in a Pennsylvania Dutch inspired design  Very large size: 31" circumference around at widest point [shoulder], 9" high, opening at top 4.75", round stacked base 3.5" Heavy weight- 9 pounds Features wheel thrown rings that are deliberately carved at rim and foot to create a stacked ring effect. There are hand formed applied flowers and leaves [3 dimensional] on each side that serve as handles Top half of vase is glazed a rich chocolate brown which has been combed to create very fine thin rings. Has small carved-in flowers/stems PLUS wonderful large blue and white flowers in thickly applied glaze. There are textural, dimensional white glaze flourishes which act as stems. There are also a few brown glazed leaves which are slightly lighter than the deep brown background. Hand signed underneath in cursive which appears to be ZIETZ A stunning piece from all angles    Excellent condition, no flaws, magnificent Art Gallery quality piece. Glaze is unfaded and very glossy. There are a few glaze skips where the clay shows underneath, they are NOT chips to glaze- surface around them is raised and fired. Super minor and hard to notice within the pattern. See last pic. No chips nicks cracks scratches repairs or damage. Pristine.
