Beautiful extra-long vintage art glass bead flapper necklace with a wonderful mix of colors, shapes and sizes. The necklace features translucent emerald green glass beads, pale clear/lavender swirled beads, larger purple swirled glass beads, and striking oversized teal/turquoise glass beads decorated with contrasting swirls. The larger beads are finished with ornate brass-tone filigree bead caps, and aged gold/brass-tone spacer beads are used throughout. The variety of handmade-looking glass beads gives this necklace tremendous character. The colors are especially beautiful in natural light, where the translucent green, purple and teal glass really comes alive. This is a very long continuous flapper-style necklace that can be worn long, doubled or layered as shown in the photographs. It measures approximately 52 inches end to end. The beads and construction have the appearance of vintage Czech/Bohemian-style art glass jewelry. I have not found a maker's mark or country-of-origin mark. Very good vintage condition overall. The glass beads are remarkably nice for their age. The metal components show age-related darkening, patina and surface wear, which I have left as found.
