This Whimsies is one of twenty-four figurines from the Nursery Rhymes Series including Old King Cole, Little Jack Horner, Humpty Dumpty, Jack and Jill, Tom, the Piper's Son, Little Boy Blue, Little Miss Muffet, Pied Piper, Doctor Foster, Mother Goose, Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe, Goosey Gander, Wee Willy Winkie, Little Bo-Peep, Three Bears, Puss in Boots, House that Jack Built, Red Riding Hood, Queen of Hearts, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Hickory Dickory Dock, Gingerbread Man and Cat 'n' Fiddle. There are 2 versions of the Old King Cole. The “no gap” version has porcelain between the feet on the front base. The “gap” version has no porcelain between the feet. There are two versions of the Queen of Hearts. One version has “small” hearts on the gown while the other version has “large” hearts. As with all Wades, there is a chance for a manufacturing flaw and / or loss of glaze.
