Satin glass with a soft yellow coloration on basket and a clear satin handle. Gorgeous, catches light beautifully. Very pretty little pressed wheel/flower where the handle joins the body of the basket.   Vintage Westmoreland YELLOW SATIN ART GLASS BRIDE'S BASKET Crimped Rim/Grapes VERY RARE to find one of these, especially in yellow. Size 7.5" high, 6.75" long x 4.75" wide. Round base is 3"  Genuine Mid Century 1940s Satin glass with a soft yellow coloration on basket and a clear satin handle. Gorgeous, catches light beautifully. Very pretty little pressed wheel/flower where the handle joins the body of the basket Pressed glass grape clusters on basket with a wonderful feature of having a definite 'front facing' side... this was because as a Bride's Basket, they did not want a grape cluster to catch on a bride's gown while being held.  Traditionally used in the 1940s to walk down the aisle with carrying a bridal bouquet  Very heavy and well balanced Excellent Condition  No chips, nicks, cracks, scratches, or signs of wear. Exceptional coloration. This is GREAT piece for a collector. Can be used for candy, flowers, nuts, trinkets, etc etc or left as is with the light shining through it for a stunning effect.
