The peasant top is a preowned piece & the skirt is handmade, new. The skirt is made of cotton gauze & has both a short & long layer all attached together. The upper skirt is adorned w/ a beautiful dark brown lattice trim & the lower skirt has a solid black trim w/ a nice texture. For your consideration is a 2pc peasant or Hobbit woman costume, both pieces made of 100% cotton. The peasant top is a preowned piece & the skirt is handmade, new. The skirt is made of cotton gauze & has both a short & long layer all attached together. The upper skirt is adorned w/ a beautiful dark brown lattice trim & the lower skirt has a solid black trim w/ a nice texture. This lower trim has a finish on the underside that maybe a fabric glue when heated. However, I have hand sewn both trims on for a quality look. The skirt is French seamed so there will be no fraying issues & it will have longevity of wear. The waist is an elastic draw & you can tie off the elastic to your fit & comfort inside the back center seam. Hems of both layers is the natural selvage edge of the fabric giving it a rustic look. The black preowned top is all cotton w/ elasticized smocking at the neckline & sleeves. Can be worn on or off shoulder. It has brown & ivory folk-style designs embroidered at the neckline.  Top is labeled XL but there is flexibility in the fit.  Very nice preowned condition. I can find no flaws.  Shown on a large body form set at Bust 42" & Waist at 35" for a sizing reference. Although the skirt has adjustable sizing, I don't recommend it for waists smaller than 30" because of the bulk of having 2 skirts contained within the waistband.  Please see the measurements below for a good fit.
