Vintage 1980s Chinese Yixing Zisha Clay Tea Set - "Fish Transforming into a Dragon" - Complete Set with Cups & Tray Description: For sale is a beautiful, complete vintage Chinese Yixing Zisha (purple/red clay) Gongfu tea set featuring the auspicious "Fish Transforming into a Dragon" (鱼化龙 - Yu Hua Long) theme. The body of the teapot and cups feature hand-sculpted swirling ocean waves and dragon reliefs, while the base of the teapot showcases a gorgeous molded whirlpool design. Teapot Detail: Features a novelty lid with a dragon head mask. When the pot is tilted forward to pour, the small dragon head & tongue gently extends. Markings & Authenticity: The base of the presentation tray bears the classic 4-character seal script mark reading "中国宜兴" (China Yixing), confirming its late 20th-century factory export provenance. The inner rim of the teapot lid features the artisan's personal rectangular signature stamp reading "周正" (Zhou Zheng). Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, or restorations.
