This stone is an octagon faceted golden yellow grossular garnet weighing 4.21ct and measuring 9.6mm length and 8.4mm width. It has an open, glittering golden tone, with its SI1 inclusions only helping its high refractive nature to scatter and spread the light instead of blocking it out. The stone is free of damage, and is exactly as you see in the above photos.  The girdle is well-formed- not too wide, and not just an absence of faceting on the edge of the stone where the pavilion and crown align.
