Charming vintage USA pottery footed planter in a beautiful soft pink glaze. This piece has a classic pedestal shape with horizontal ribbed detailing around the bowl and a stepped footed base. The underside is marked 455 USA. The pretty pastel pink makes this a wonderful piece for a vintage nursery, cottagecore bedroom, shabby chic décor, spring display, or collected pottery vignette. Add a small plant or use with faux flowers to create a sweet vintage accent. Measures approximately 5” tall with a 4 ½ ” opening. Please see measurement photos for additional details. Condition: Vintage pre-owned condition with age-related wear. There is a hairline/crack extending down from the rim, shown clearly in the close-up photos. There is also staining/mineral residue inside from previous use, along with discoloration and wear around the unglazed bottom rim. Minor surface marks and glaze variations are present throughout. Because of the hairline, this piece is best suited for decorative use or with a liner rather than assuming it is watertight.
