Offered for your consideration is a master berry bowl made by the U. S. Glass Company in their No. 15048  "Pennsylvania" pattern. Also known as Balder and Kamoni, this pattern was issued as part of the States series and dates to 1897. The oblong bowl measures 9 inches (22.9 cm) long, 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) wide, and is 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm) tall. The master berry bowl is in fine condition with no cracks, chips, nor deep scratches. There is some roughness in places along inside of rim, and may have very faint surface scratches from use. The gold trim shows noticeable wear and is weak and missing in places. The glass is bright and clear with no cloudiness, discoloration, nor lime scale present.  There may be bubbles within the glass, a shear (straw) mark, and other imperfections from the manufacturing process used at the time.
