True antique highly detailed and beautiful piece with quality hand inlaid wood and mother of pearl . Early 1900s piece with painstaking craftsmanship that is a piece of art, more beautiful in hand than the photos convey. What's distressed? The front, back and left side are largely intact with some loss at the corners - pleas see photos. The top has several pieces of missing mother of pearl and some missing wood. The right side as seen is missing an entire panel on the lid. The box can be enjoyed for its character with the loss but might also be worthy of restoration. No chips or cracks to the main wood structure and the lid fits tightly and opens / closes as it should. -Measurements - 2.5” H x 8.25” W x 4” D. *Please inspect photos, ask questions and bid responsibly.
