I am not sure if they are regular mugs/goblets or if they are shaving mugs. They are antique, i believe made they were made in Germany but they are unmarked. I could not find much information on them but i am thinking 19th century. They are hand painted and do have many areas with worn paint and gilt. The wear is noticeable. There are surface and paint scratches some of which are more noticeable than others. One of the mugs (the faith hope love mug) has a tiny surface chip on the top rim that reaches down the front a bit, but for the most part it blends in; i thought it was just worn gilt at first (see photos). I put the words in google translate and it said that one reads, you follow faith, hope, love. I believe the other says “as a reminder” . It is possible that i have overlooked some additional small flaws. Buyer should expect more wear than what is visible or mentioned. Lighting and reflections make it difficult to capture all flaws and imperfections clearly. SOLD AS IS. Please view all photos using zoom. The color may vary from photos due to lighting.
