This is an Original Poster, (Not a Giclée or Reprint), De-Acidified, Linen Backed, Original, Sunny Daytime Background, 1940 NYWF Poster featuring daytime image of Flags of Nations with crowds gathering and walking around beneath them and around the statue of George Washington. Issued for the 1940 Re-Opening of The 1939 New York World's Fair, This Poster is Approx. 20-3/16" High x 13-1/8" Wide, Linen size is Approx. 21-1/4" High x 14-1/4" Wide. Bottom left edge has ©N.Y.W.F. and bottom right edge has: "MADE IN U.S.A. BY POLYGRAPHIC COMPANY OF AMERICA, Inc., N.Y.C." and Union Logo. Before linen-backing, it was stored away from light since the 40's.  Almost 83 Year Old Poster is in Excellent, Unused Condition and has been Professionally De-Acidified and Linen Backed. Colors are bright and linen is clean and white. Overall a difficult poster to find in this size, let alone this condition with only light signs of handling on outer edges and corners including a light wrinkle here and there, barely noticeable.
