Vintage ~ Hand crafted ~ Sterling silver ~ Necklace from India (most likely Rajasthan ) ~Necklace is very well made and features a large central pendant with embossed peacock design with black beaded tassel at one end~ Pendant is attached to a wide black threaded choker with silver beads in between . Unsigned but acid test positive for silver (higher grade silver). Dates ~1940s -1950s . Measurements ~ Necklace is 18 inches in length x 1/2 inches max width . Pendant adds 5 inches in total drop length x 3 inches wide . Weighs 138 grams on my weighing scale. Condition ~ Good vintage condition ~ Heavy age patina to silver ~few tiny dings to the larger silver beads /nothing very noticeable ~Black thread is bit faded ,comes with age and use .
