It is finely crafted and dates from the 1880s. The body of the brooch is crafted from 18K. It features a curved pin and a plunger concealed clasp. The diamonds are in a combination of settings, milgrain as well as collette settings in silver. The diamonds are all set in silver to enhance the illumination of the diamonds. The flora spray is fabulous and rather large, spanning 3.5 inches in length. This is a sure to be noticed brooch. The diamonds are all intact and in great condition. There are no stones missing nor is there any damage or known repairs. The booch is confirmed and tested as 18K gold with a sterling silver face and natural earth mined diamonds.
