The lady is wearing a FABULOUS pink ruffled lace dress with a white bodice and sleeves with gold floral painted accents. She has a pink ruffled lace neckline. She also has delicate applied porcelain flowers scattered throughout her gown. Up for sale is an ABSOLUTLY GORGEOUS Large German Mueller Volkstedt Dresden lace figurine of a lady reclining reading a book. This beautiful piece stands approximately 8 inches tall and approximately 9 inches wide. The lady is wearing a FABULOUS pink ruffled lace dress with a white bodice and sleeves with gold floral painted accents. She has a pink ruffled lace neckline.   Her dress has white ruffled lace sleeve caps and her gown is accented with white lace ruffles.  She also has delicate applied porcelain flowers scattered throughout her gown.   She has gold shoes and is holding a book. The lady has a delicate applied porcelain yellow rose at her neckline. She has PERFECT OUTSTRETCHED arms and fingers. She is sitting on a green french style fainting couch. This figurine is made of solid porcelain and porcelain lace. This piece has the Volksted Dresden mark on the bottom and says Germany. It also has the number 1855 incised on the back base.  It is from my parents private collection and is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION. The only tiny flaws I see is tiny chip in the lace on the lady's dress on the bottom right corner....see pic 19 and a small chip in the lace bottom left....see pic 20 and 21. Other than that I personally do not see any other chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has so many beautiful ruffles that it is hard to see each one but PLEASE review all of the pictures because they are part of the description and you can make your own decision.
