I am guessing that this work is French, but it could also be English or even Italian, so please assess according to your own judgement.   Petit point is a type of needlework, specifically embroidery on canvas, known for its tiny, intricate stitches. Frame is strong, but does have bumped corners. Needlepoint is protected by low glare glass.  Fabric/needlepoint is strong and shows very little discoloration for it's age.
