This is a gorgeous, faceted Rhinestone, very sparkly, and very unusual Aurora Borealis Necklace. It is signed Regency; made in NYC in the 50's, and measures between 15 1/2" and 18 " depending on how you adjust it. The main coloration is shades of blue as pictured The clasp is a lobster clasp and very sturdy. The piece is in excellent condition. The reason it is so unusual is that it is exceptionally "prismatic" and displays intense flashes of completely clear, purple, green and or pink with the slightest movement. I tried to capture some of this with the variety of pictures I included, but not being a professional photographer and not having professional equipment it was difficult.
