The large handles on either side of the pot are lion's heads washed in gold! A stunning very large antique D & Co or Delinieres Limoges, France jardiniere or cache pot with matching stand, made c. 1894 - 1900. This beautiful one-of-a-kind set is done in white porcelain trimmed in gold and has hand painted poppies front and back. The large handles on either side of the pot are lion's heads washed in gold! The matching base or stand also has gold trim and fantastic paw feet. Overall dimensions (jardiniere on stand): 11 1/2" high x 14 1/2" wide (including handles). Top opening of pot is 8 1/2" in diameter. There is a chip to one of the fleur de lis on the base and the tip of one of the fangs on the lion handle is rough but no cracks or crazing, light wear to the gilding.
