I believe it is a souvenir from the 1960s or 1970s and a rare depiction of the Goddess Artemis playing a lyre with her companion deer because my friend loved music. In excellent condition, this large decorative plate measures 12.5 inches in diameter and has a hole in the back that allows it to be hung on the wall. While Artemis is most often depicted in the hunt according to mythology, she was also associated with music because she was the sister of Apollo.
