They smell delicious but don’t eat them. 😊 You could eat them but don’t you want to keep them forever? Each one is hand made, unique and may have flaws- like you and I and that is what makes them special. They are cured and hard but somewhat fragile so please handle with care. The making of the gingers is a very time consuming and labor intensive process - the kneading, rolling and stretching of this particular thick and taffy like dough over and over requires a lot of strength and physical exertion from your neck down to your feet - as well as the cost of the all natural ingredients (Flour, Sugar, Molasses, Cloves, Spices, etc) Oh, and then there’s the never ending clean up 😊 Please keep away from children and pets.
