This is a substantial, decorative covered serving bowl with a domed lid topped by a figural finial, sculpted side figures, and a footed base. The interior is generously sized, making this piece larger than a standard sugar bowl and suitable as a tureen, covered serving dish, or statement display piece. The underside is marked R. Capodimonte – Italy, with additional handwritten model numbers, consistent with mid-20th-century Italian Capodimonte production. Condition: Very good vintage condition overall. One small rim chip noted near the lid edge (see close-up photo). No cracks or repairs observed. Gold gilt shows light, age-appropriate wear.
