I have never seen a more beautiful and well made baby quilt as I have with this one. It appears that the quilt was machine pieced but hand quilted afterwards with the scalloped edges also applied by hand. This is an adorable vintage all cotton babies quilt that has been machine pieced and hand quilted It has also been hand embroidered with delightful animals and angels on each separate white patch that together reads as a babies prayer.  I have listed all the patches separately so you could see the designs along with the prayer wording on each patch It reads " Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Heavenly Angels Guard my sleep Amen" I have never seen a more beautiful and well made baby quilt as I have with this one.  It is vintage but appears new , has been taken care of and all colors are bright including the garden green back and petalled  trim along the edges. Perfect for a boy or girl . The embroidered designs show great work and detail with an assortment of  stitches seen. It appears that the quilt was machine pieced but hand quilted afterwards with the scalloped edges also applied by hand. I really had to look closely to see if it wasn't all hand pieced and quilted it is difficult to tell.  It is a great size of 44x48 inch no stains no holes no odors has been well taken care off.
