Pretty pair of stoneware mugs with an adorable imprinted flower design. Each mug has a cluster of abstract flower imprints on one side, and are blank on the other. The glaze is a darker brown color "brushed" over a lighter brown-gray stoneware color. There are no chips or cracks to these at all, they are in lovely condition! Both have foil stickers on the bottom that says "Made in Japan". These were made before dishwasher and microwave use was common, so they don't have specific recommendations. Personally, I would hand wash them as dishwashers may erode the finish (so the shine may get dull or the glaze worn off over time). They may be fine in the microwave, but you definitely need to remove the foil label first. Measures 3.5" tall and 3.25" across the rim. Holds 8oz comfortably, about 10oz if filled to the brim.
