View Vintage Japanese Black Lacquer-Style Finish Tin Tea Caddy 7.5"T x 3.75"dia with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. It has a tiny bit of pitting inside, and I have in the past taken a black magic marker to any open spots in the lacquer when it got scratched or a spot opened up. This is a vintage tea container that I believe is black lacquer type covering.  The artist if you do a language conversion is Tobun Shoten or if you hold the camera different angle, another name.   It measures approx 7.5" tall with the lid on, and is approx 3.75" across.  It has a tiny bit of pitting inside, and I have in the past taken a black magic marker to any open spots in the lacquer when it got scratched or a spot opened up.  Photos are actual item.Weighs a bit less than 1/2 pound.    Smoke free home.  Photos are part of the description.   Please check out my other listings as I am slowly trying to sell off everything.
