View Vintage 1970's Red Wing 2218 Logger Boots 13 D Steel Toe USA Vibram Leather with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. They feature premium black full-grain leather, original steel safety toes, Goodyear welt construction, and the original Vibram lug outsole with the yellow Vibram insert. Believed to beRed Wing 2218. Based on their construction and period features, they are believed to be the Red Wing2218 steel-toe logger model, although the interior style stamp has faded with age. Authentic vintage Red Wing logger boots, believed to be the desirable Model 2218 based on their construction, features, and original ownership history. These boots were purchased new by me in  1978  and have remained in excellent original condition. They feature premium black full-grain leather, original steel safety toes, Goodyear welt construction, and the original Vibram lug outsole with the yellow Vibram insert. These are classic American-made logger boots built for decades of service. Features Believed to be Red Wing 2218 Leather heel stack, not direct molded Made in USA Men's Size 13 D Black full-grain leather Steel toe 8-inch height Original Vibram lug sole Goodyear welt construction Original Red Wing woven tongue label Original speed hooks and eyelets Condition Very good vintage condition with normal signs of use. The original Vibram soles have substantial tread remaining. Leather is supple with no cracks or major damage. Interior markings are worn from age and use. Please examine all photos carefully as they are part of the description. Notes These boots were purchased new in the late 1970s. Based on their construction and period features, they are believed to be the Red Wing 2218 steel-toe logger model, although the interior style stamp has faded with age. Collectors should review the photographs and make their own determination.
