Beautiful Antique Noritake Nippon Hand-Painted Porcelain Chocolate Pot (c. 1911–1921) Up for sale is a gorgeous, authentic antique chocolate pot (often used for cocoa or coffee) crafted by Noritake during the historic "Nippon" era, Japan. This piece features a striking late Victorian / early Art Deco aesthetic, featuring delicate hand-painted pink floral garlands, geometric green medallions, and elegant gold gilt accents along the rims, handle, and lid. The bottom features the authentic green Morimura "M-in-Wreath" backstamp, securely dating this piece between 1891 and 1921. Condition Details (Please Read): Overall Condition: Very Good vintage/antique condition. The porcelain body is bright, clean, and free of any hairline cracks or crazing. The hand-painted floral design remains vibrant. Flaw Disclosure: There is a small "flea bite" chip located on the inner lip of the pouring spout (please see the close-up photo for exact details). Features a few tiny, minor black kiln specks / firing dots in the glaze from production, which is typical for authentic Nippon porcelain of this era. Gold Trim: There is very minor, expected shelf-wear to the gold trim on the handle and rims consistent with a piece that is over 100 years old, but the gilding is otherwise largely intact and presents beautifully.
