When I was a child, we used my grandfather's black handled screwdrivers, then in my dad's garage. They felt so comfortable in the hand. These feel just like those we used as kids. I did a lot of these and retain a full set for my own use. Vintage Wood and Leather Handled Screwdriver Group  1.) One Bridgeport Bell System Flat Tip Screwdriver. 2.)  12-1/2" Flat Tip 1/4" with Japanned Black Wood Handle 3.) 9" Flat Tip 5/16"  with Japanned Black Wood Handle 4.) 7-1/4" Flat Tip 5/16" Stacked Leather Handle   (Scarce) 5.) I searched for years for that same feel and learned that in the 1930-40's some handles were painted with black Japanning. I used the same recipe I use on hand planes and allowed a long drying period. These feel just like those we used as kids. I did a lot of these and retain a full set for my own use.  Refurbished cleaned and waxed.  Only the items described is included. Replacement parts are no longer made and sourcing them is difficult and expensive. Sometimes, I must purchase another tool just for a single part. I believe in transparency and tell you what I have done. I have decades of experience restoring antique tools.
