A matching pair of authentic vintage Japanese fine porcelain teacups decorated in the classic and highly collectible Phoenix Bird (historically nicknamed the "Flying Turkey" ) transferware pattern. The cups feature a bold, rich cobalt blue transfer design on a clean white porcelain blank. The artwork highlights the mythical Japanese phoenix ( Hō-ō ) with its wings swept upward, framed by a continuous border of scrolling floral vines, leaves, and geometric cloud bands along the upper rims.
