Beautiful vintage butterfly brooch crafted in 925 sterling silver and accented with sparkling marcasite stones and rich red enamel. The butterfly features intricate openwork detailing, twisted antennae, scalloped wings, and striking red enamel accents throughout. The numerous faceted marcasite stones give the wings wonderful sparkle and dimension. The reverse is clearly marked “925” for sterling silver and “WS” with the maker’s mark. Condition: Very nice pre-owned vintage condition. All marcasite stones are present and intact. Sterling shows natural patina/tarnish and age-related surface wear, particularly on the reverse.
