Antique Late Qing / Republic Period  (circa 1890–1920)  Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Square Pedestal Bowl - Stamped "CHINA" A gorgeous, genuine antique Chinese cloisonné (vitreous enamel on copper/brass) square pedestal centerpiece bowl. Dating from the late 19th century to early 20th century, this piece reflects the beautiful craftsmanship of late Imperial/early Republic era export metalwork. Design & Features: Figural Scenes: Each of the four exterior flaring walls features unique, multi-colored enameled panels depicting traditional Chinese scholars, court figures, or family life amidst stylized clouds and landscape backgrounds. Vibrant Turquoise Interior: The inside basin and the underside base plate are finished in a brilliant, glossy turquoise/teal blue enamel counter-glaze typical of early workshop practices. The Maker Mark: The underside base features an authentic, clear impressed block "CHINA" stamp underneath the enamel glaze, confirming its age and origin. Geometric Borders: The footrim features a beautiful geometric wave/key fret border pattern. 5 1/2 inches wide. 3 1/2 inches tall. Excellent antique condition. Some wear on the interior finish.
