The ornate Victorian fireplace features a pink marble surround, a brass fender, an enamel mantel clock flanked by urns, and a warm amber glow that seems to radiate right through the embossed card stock. Sent around Christmas 1910 (postmarked Oct 28 from a partially legible town — likely Fishkill or Fishers, NY area) by "H. Jennie" to Miss Hannah in Warwick, New York, with the warm wish: "Wishing you all a Merry Xmas and Happy New Year with love."
