Vintage handmade crazy quilt measuring approximately 60” x 70”, with embroidered inscriptions including “To Elizabeth 1934” and “From Granny.” Features a large assortment of colorful fabrics joined with decorative stitching and numerous hand-embroidered floral and other small motifs. PLEASE READ CONDITION CAREFULLY: This quilt is in SEVERELY DETERIORATED, EXTREMELY FRAGILE CONDITION. It is being offered AS IS for a collector, textile study, historical interest or preservation purposes only. Numerous fabrics are badly deteriorated, shattered, torn, frayed or missing. There are open seams, holes, fabric loss, loose and broken threads, staining/discoloration, worn embroidery and extensive deterioration throughout. Because of the degree of deterioration, I do not consider this suitable for use as bedding, and I would not recommend it as cutter material for repurposing, as many of the fabrics are too fragile to withstand further handling.
