Stunning antique Japanese Nippon-era porcelain ewer/pitcher, beautifully decorated with large hand-painted pink roses, pale green foliage, white flowers, rich gold gilt, deep green accents, and ornate raised moriage-style scroll and bead detailing. The rounded body rests on three sculpted tripod feet and features a dramatic curved handle and flared decorative spout. The combination of heavy gold decoration, florals, and elaborate form gives this piece a wonderful Victorian / Art Nouveau aesthetic.
