Item Description: Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic Japanese cloisonné enamel cabinet plate dating from the late Meiji Period (circa 1880–1900) . This exquisite piece features a vibrant, deep blue background decorated with a lush, asymmetrical bouquet of multicolored flowers (including peonies and chrysanthemums), rocky terrain, and small birds in flight. The front is beautifully framed by an intricate geometric border. The reverse side showcases the high-quality craftsmanship of the era, featuring a fully worked "scroll and scale" hand-laid wire pattern over a dark counter-enamel background with a deep green glossy central medallion. Country of Origin: Japan Era: Meiji Period (1868–1912) Diameter: 7.25 inches (18.4 cm) Condition: Excellent antique condition.
