Handle has scoop cuts and a flat cut top at thumbrest for easy handling.   Antique PITCHER ABP American Brilliant Period HOBSTAR Hand Cut CRYSTAL GLASS  Genuine circa late 1800s- approx. 1910 Quality of the cutwork on this piece is EXCEPTIONAL  Completely hand blown, hand cut crystal with bedazzling cuts that shine like rainbows with light reflecting off them A stunning large center star with facets-within-facets. Next to the star are 2 very large crossed X cuts with fans which lead up to a scalloped saw-tooth edged rim. Spout has interesting vertical file cut panels on the underside Handle has scoop cuts and a flat cut top at thumbrest for easy handling Underside of pitcher has a large multi faceted cut star  This piece looks magnificent from any angle and must have been cut by an extremely skilled artisan  Very heavy thick crystal, and well balanced Size Approx. 8" high x 7.5" wide from handle to spout.  Would be gorgeous displayed on a tabletop, or used as a very elegant pitcher. Would also be terrific as a vase  Very heavy- almost 6 pounds in weight   Excellent to Very good condition- one of the sawtooth cuts at rim has a tiny chip at the edge, see last pic. Extremely difficult to notice [very small] and not rough or sharp. NO other damage, no chips nicks scratches or flaws- gorgeous.
