This striking handcrafted sterling silver pendant centers on a large rectangular Iron Tiger's Eye cabochon displaying rich golden-brown Tiger’s Eye banding crossed by naturally occurring blue-gray and silvery hematite-rich lines. This striking handcrafted sterling silver pendant centers on a large rectangular Iron Tiger's Eye cabochon displaying rich golden-brown Tiger’s Eye banding crossed by naturally occurring blue-gray and silvery hematite-rich lines. Five faceted crystal accent stones complement the centerpiece—three in greenish-golden shades and two in smoky brown tones that echo the darker bands of the Tiger Iron. The substantial openwork setting features sweeping silver curves, decorative granulation, individually fitted bezels and a sculptural fan-shaped bail, giving the pendant an ornate and beautifully balanced appearance. Open-backed settings allow light to reach the accent stones and reveal their shifting colors. Close inspection shows separate soldered components, hand-fitted settings and subtle irregularities consistent with traditional bench-made construction. Hallmarked RD 925. Approximately 2.5 inches long, 1.25 inches wide and weighs a substantial 19.52 g. Very good vintage old-store-stock condition with light surface scratches, handling marks and minor natural tarnish from age and storage. The Tiger Iron and five crystal accent stones appear secure, with no obvious chips or cracks observed. Small tool marks, solder evidence and slight irregularities are consistent with handcrafted construction and are not considered damage. Some photos are enlarged to show detail; others show scale.
