View Set 2 Chinese FU FOO DOG FIGURINES Glazed Ceramic Pottery MOTTLED GREEN & BLUE with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Glazing colors are rich and vibrant with a lovely gloss- colors are mottled green and blue, with blue accents at the feet. Base color is white. Glaze is glossy and unfaded. See all pics and use zoom.   Set 2 Chinese FU FOO DOG FIGURINES Glazed Ceramic Pottery MOTTLED GREEN & BLUE Size 5.5" high for the male, 5.25" for the female. Approx. 5" wide x 3" deep [both] Matched set-  one faces left and is male, one faces right and is female. Magnificent fired pottery figures of two Fu Dogs, guardians of the home and bringers of luck and prosperity. Detailing & expression of their faces is wonderful- female has her mouth slightly open as is traditional. Glazing colors are rich and vibrant with a lovely gloss- colors are mottled green and blue, with blue accents at the feet. Base color is white.  The glazing is done in a majolica style- rich and jewel toned Excellent condition, absolutely no damage chips nicks scratches flaws or repairs to either. Glaze is glossy and unfaded. See all pics and use zoom. Very collectible.  The number 93 is impressed on the underside of the female. There is also a hand written impressed number which looks like 86, on both.   Great for a collector and will look lovely on display-  Very charming.
