Made of 100% polyester, it's lightweight, and has a silky feel to it with a satiny sheen. It is machine washable in cold, but line dry. The dress is sleeveless and has a scoopneck that is trimmed in shimmery charcoal. The main colors throughout the dress are dark navy and royal blue, with an intricate, artsy, floral and paisley pattern in white and indigo throughout (if you click on each photo and run your cursor over them, that enlarges the details). It features pintuck details at the bodice, a 13" long concealed zipper up the back, with a silver hook and eye at the top of the inside for extra fastening security, and some rusching at the waist. The chest is about 20" across, armpit to armpit (40" in diameter). It's approximately 36" long, from the top of the shoulder to the center of the bottom hem, where it's shortest, and approximately 43" long from the top of the shoulder to the lowest handkerchief points on the sides. The waist is approximately 15" across (30" in diameter), but there is a small 6-1/2" strip of elastic sewn on the inside of each side of the waist (see the 7th photo), so it can stretch up to about 20" (40" in diameter) max.
