DEPARTMENT 56 SNOWBABIES Porcelain Figurine TWO LITTLE ANGELS #69140 - 2001 Starting in the late 1980's, Department 56 started producing their Snowbabies Collection, which are replicas of the original German Snow Baby designs. This Department 56 Snowbabies Collection depicts young children/babies and/or winged cherubs in various holiday and/or wintery settings. The figurines are made from ivory bisque porcelain with the blue-eyed babies wearing textured outfits. With fine detailing and realistic scenery, some of the collection includes 24K gold, platinum, or hand-painted color details. These were typically released each year and retired after a period of time.
