It just has the look and feel of a nice quality piece! RETRO SUN FACE PIN 1980s - MATTE / BRUSHED GOLD This is a fun retro-styled sun face pin-- a design like you'd have seen in the Art Deco era. Ideal for any season, rain or shine, it would be especially fitting on any happy day you want to wear it! The pin measures approximately 1 3/4in diameter at the outer points of the rays. In bas-relief, it's about 3/16 in "thick" not counting the pin post. There is a matching matte gold clutch fastener. The pin post is perfectly straight, the clutch in expected working order. I don't know for sure, but this pin looks like it might've been made in the lost-wax cast process. It just has the look and feel of a nice quality piece!
